Can you essentially name what it is that you want? Like, think about life. Think about, you know, finances. Do you know what you want financially today and in the future? Do you know what you want in terms of your body and your health and your vitality? Do you know what you want from your friendships, the people who are close to you? Do you know what you want for your family? Do you know what you want for your career? Do you know what you want for your future? Do you know what you want in terms of experiences or trips you want to take or vacations you want to go on or things you want to explore? Do you know what it is you want to wake up to every day as an experience of yourself? Like, do you want to wake up happy, joyful, passionate, fulfilled? Do you know what you want? Very, very few people today know what they want and therefore are never going to create it.
Something that I'm known for telling people and for supporting people with is, I often say, if you can tell me what it is you want, no matter what it is, I can definitely support you and train you on acquiring that outcome and achieving that which you're after, that what you want. But what I can't do is name it for you. I can't tell you what it is you should want. You have to decide what you want for yourself and give yourself permission to do that. If you don't know how to name what you want, like, we can show you how to do that, but you have to be willing to take the step to decide what you want for yourself, who it is you want to become, what it is you want to achieve. What are some outcomes and results you want to be up to? What are some things you want to have or own, like truly, truly, what is it that you want? If you can name what you want, that's your first major step to achieving and getting it.
And so many people don't name what they want because they don't believe that it's possible for them. Somewhere they've got beat down by life and they've lost belief in who they can become and what they could create. Another big reason people don't create what they want is because the doubt of others has infiltrated their mind. And all of a sudden, the things that you aspire to, the things you want to achieve, who you want to become, that what you want to create, you've gotten the voice of others in your head too much and you've heard from others why you can't do it, why it's not possible. You know how terrible the state of affairs are in the world, why the environment will never be suitable for you to create the thing that you want, why you should basically give up on life and just keep doing what you're doing.
And then, and then at the end of the day, we don't even realize we did it, you give in and you give up and then you, you just accept status quo and you just allow life to accidentally, you know, sort of maintain the mundane. And you just get into whatever routine that you're in and then oftentimes we can get caught there. And in the first step to getting out of your routine, getting out of the mundane, stepping out of average is get it clear on what it is that you want. Like give yourself permission to name what it is you want and where it is you want to go. Because it is the first step to achieving anything in which you truly desire.
