You may have noticed that you find yourself often thinking that essentially things will never change, it's never going to get better. This is essentially all there is. And the consequence of that is then we just start going through the motions. You just start, you know, kind of kind of existing as opposed to living, right?
You just start kind of getting through your day as opposed to thriving and really, really loving the life that you're living. And so if you found yourself getting caught in that idea and that belief that things will never change, I'm here to, you know, invite you to give yourself permission to believe again, to dream again.
Because so oftentimes we get into that rut of things will never change because we've just gotten beat down by life. Or maybe you went out and you tried to make a change at some point in time and it didn't work out, or maybe you were told that you wouldn't amount to anything or that this is all that there's going to be, or that you're not allowed to make a change.
A lot of times we get that message in one way or another. And so if you want to see a change happen in your life and you're up for transformation occurring and you're ready to create a different version of yourself in reality, you 100% can and deserve to know and have that life that you want and that you can aspire to.
And so if you are willing, it really comes down to a few key things. Number one is it starts with belief. You've got to give yourself permission, start waking up each day and acknowledge that you can create the life you choose. And just by pointing your attention in that direction, that you can create the life you choose.
It'll give the mind permission. It'll give you permission to start going, hey, what would I like to create? And so you've got to give yourself permission to start creating ideas and visions about what you could be up to and the life you could be living and start thinking in that direction. Because the individuals could who create change in their life, it always starts in the same way.
They start to imagine the reality as being different than the one they know. They start imagining the reality as being different than the one they know they create a vision for the life in which they aspire to, and they start giving themselves permission to believe in it.
And remember, belief is a choice. You can start looking around at other people and go, hey, they did it. So can I. Like, that's a version of something I can create when I like to know that for myself. You know, get ideas from around you. But most important, give yourself permission to believe again.
And then, number two, give yourself permission to start doing something different than you're doing today. What I have learned is there are four keys to transformation, and anybody can transform their life. If you are stuck in that space of things will never change, well start getting focused on these four things, and I guarantee that in as little as just a few months, right, you will know a completely different life than the one you know today.
Name something you want to create, give yourself permission to believe in it. And then as you name that which you want to create, do four key things. Number one, start looking at the things you're doing that won't produce that outcome, and give yourself permission to stop doing those things. Number two, ask yourself, what are people doing that have that result?
What are they doing every day? Or what could I do to produce that result and start doing something new? Start doing something different than what you're doing day after day, and you will force a new result into existence. And then, number three, align with that vision, acknowledge it every single day, and make sure that that becomes your context.
Make the vision of what you want to create, the outcome you want to fulfill and create, more important than the other things that you're up to. And, and you'll start prioritizing it by doing nothing more than just focusing on it and acknowledging it every single day, and then affirming why it's important to you to create.
And then four, hey, it's going to be uncomfortable at times. I'm not saying change is easy. I'm saying it's worth it. And so, you know, give yourself permission to be uncomfortable, to maybe even be afraid to feel uncertain about something, even have it feel against the grain or the nature of who you are, and execute and take action toward the realization of that result anyway.
Be afraid, take action anyway, and it's just a matter of time before you have the result. I've done the work inside of transformation now with thousands of people all over the world for the last 22 years, and I've seen amazing and radical transformations occur, and I've never seen somebody not capable of it.
It's just a matter of willingness to do those four things, do something new I haven't done before, stop doing something I'm currently doing, make the vision and the outcome that I want more important than other things. And then finally, be a little afraid, be willing to be uncomfortable and take action anyway.
And before you know it, the suffering will stop. Because if you're in that loop of things will never change and you're just merely existing, you're suffering every single day, you're in pain every single day. And if you dare to increase your discomfort temporarily to start taking these new actions, you can actually eliminate the suffering, access and know a life better than you've ever thought possible, and start accessing, you know, joy and a sense of freedom and confidence, and you know, so many, you know, awesome expressions in which you can know.
And then pain will become the exception. The difference between pain and suffering is, is one is unlimited. Suffering never ends, whereas pain is temporary, discomfort is temporary. And so give yourself permission if you're in that space of suffering, and make now the moment when you're going to come out of that so that pain becomes just that, the exception, not the norm.
